adesso AG announces increased FY 2015 operating earnings of a new record
high of EUR 14.2 million - already raised guidance outperformed

On the basis of preliminary figures, adesso reports sales of EUR 56.2
million and EBITDA of EUR 4.6 million (previous year: EUR 2.8 million) for
the fourth quarter of 2015. Total sales 2015 reached EUR 196.4 million,
EBITDA amounts to EUR 14.2 million (previous year: EUR 9.8 million). The
operating earnings key figure EBITDA set a new record high, is
significantly up 45 % on the previous year and above the already at midyear
increased guidance of EUR 11.0 to 12.0 million. EBITDA-margin is 7.2 %
after 6.2 % in the previous year. Main drivers of the again strong fourth
quarter were next to the good utilisation, high license sales from the
adesso content management system FirstSpirit in December and a new customer
for the life insurance system PSLife.
 
Due to higher write-downs on short-term components of the purchase price
allocation of Born Informatik AG especially on the acquired order backlog
group result increased slower than EBITDA by 30 % to EUR 5.2 million.
Earnings per share rose by 36 % to EUR 0.80.

All figures are preliminary and subject to the results of the ongoing work
of the financial auditor. The complete report based on final figures will
