adesso awarded major contract worth around EUR 21 million: Medizinischer Dienst der Krankenversicherung (MDK) approves budget for development of new industry software

Medizinischer Dienst der Krankenversicherung (MDK), the medical, dental and caregiving consultancy and assessment service for statutory health and nursing care insurance providers in Germany, has commissioned a consortium led by adesso AG with the development of software for use in the industry. HBSN AG is adesso’s partner in the consortium. The volume of the large-scale project totals around EUR 21 million and includes an eight-year maintenance contract. The new software will support the 15 MDK regional offices in fulfilling their mission to advise Germany’s statutory health insurance providers.



“Boostival” for founders: adesso invites start-ups to a pitch event in Dortmund on 26 October

In its anniversary year, IT service provider adesso has launched an incubator for start-ups: adesso will use the company, inQventures GmbH, to share its experience and expertise, earned over the past two decades, with talented, promising start-ups. On 26 October 2017, inQventures will host a pitch event titled “Start-up Boostival”. The aim is to bring founders from the German-speaking world together with corporate investors and venture capitalists, helping them raise capital and obtain rapid market access. The deadline for applications from start-ups in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is 12 October.



adesso receives contract from the German Federal Network Agency to introduce electronic file management

The German Federal Network Agency for electricity, gas, telecommunications, post and railway markets, which is based in Bonn, has commissioned the bidding consortium composed of adesso AG and TechTalk GmbH with the supply, integration and introduction of standard software for electronic file management. The order is valued at around €3.5 million.



adesso invests in start-up

adesso AG has acquired a 30 percent stake in the start-up The Essen-based company has developed a fully automatic camera system and online streaming service for the live broadcasting of amateur football games.



adesso invites children all over Germany to exciting IoT workshops

Tinkering, programming and fine-tuning: As part of its 20th-anniversary campaign ‘Develop. The future. Now.’, the IT service provider adesso is hosting free IoT4Kids workshops in seven German cities. From September to November 2017, children aged nine to 14 will be able to try out the Internet of Things and engage in related creative activities.
