adesso Schweiz AG again graded “Switzerland’s Top Employer” in 2012
Dortmund, 28 March 2012 – adesso Schweiz AG has again been judged one of Switzerland’s best bosses. The Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) gave the IT service provider a series of outstanding assessments and deemed it to be a “Top Employer.”
Just as was the case in the three years previously, IT service provider adesso Schweiz AG was once again named one of German-speaking and Francophone Switzerland’s top employer in the CRF Institute’s 2012 comparative study. The institute is a specialist in the field of international personnel management. Its study examined personnel policies and practices at Swiss companies. CRF ranked the companies surveyed based on criteria including primary and secondary benefits, work/life balance, training and development, career prospects, plus corporate culture. adesso Schweiz recorded outstanding results in all of the survey’s categories. As a result, the firm remains the first stop for Swiss employees looking for a great job.
“When we work with our clients, we approach them as partners. That’s something that allows us to work together shoulder to shoulder, which is a really important factor in all this”, explains Miryam Escher, adesso Schweiz’s Manager for Human Resources, Finances and Administration. “The kind of relationship we have with our partners is also something that has to be experienced at the company itself. adesso puts a great amount of stock in recruiting well-qualified employees who see themselves as part of a team.”
Adesso’s human resources strategy puts particular emphasis on training staff. This extensive training does not just ensure that customers can always rely on adesso staff members’ top-notch technological and specialist skills. Beyond that, it also improves the career prospects of adesso employees.
The CRF institute has provided rankings of employee management at Swiss companies since 2008. All of the firms permitted to take part must fulfil objective assessment criteria concerning best practice. Studies of their human resource department determine the outcome. Only companies that meet the study criteria receive certification as one of Switzerland’s “Top Employers”. Nineteen companies were awarded the title in 2012.
