adesso named one of Germany’s top employers
adesso, one of 100 companies awarded the “Germany’s top employer 2010” seal of approval.
Dortmund, 09 March, 2010 – The IT service provider adesso AG was named one of the top 100 employers in Germany by the renowned Great Place to Work® Institute Deutschland as part of its nationwide corporate competition. Federal Minister of Labour Ursula von der Leyen praised the quality and attractiveness of the participating companies in their role as employers at the gala ceremony in Berlin.
adesso AG belongs to the top 100 employers in Germany and now carries the “Great Place to Work 2010” seal of approval. The company was particularly impressive in the category “work environment” and also received top marks in camaraderie, pride and fairness. In addition, management’s trust in the excellent work performed by employees was also rated as above average.
“Our aim is to unite innovative ideas and solid software technologies with committed and highly-motivated people. That’s why we offer our employees challenging tasks in a unique atmosphere with excellent prospects,” explains Rainer Rudolf, CEO of adesso AG.

The “Germany’s top employer” award is based on anonymous employee surveys that focus on central workplace topics such as leadership, teamwork, career development, remuneration and satisfaction. A total of 235 companies of all industries, sizes and regions participated in this year’s evaluation by the Great Place to Work® Institute Deutschland, which has recognised top German employers since 2002. The patron of the competition, Federal Minister of Labour Ursula von der Leyen as well as Frank Heuser, Head of the Great Place to Work Institute, pointed out that Germany’s best employers kept employee orientation as a central focus even in these recent times of economic crisis.
