By merging SITGATE AG into the parent company adesso AG, former SITGATE services in the field of IT management are being integrated into the existing adesso portfolio. In addition to offering industry-specific consulting services and software development, this step is expanding fulfilment capacities to provide operation and maintenance services for developed solutions. The integration is also pooling adesso’s know-how in cutting the total cost of ownership of existing data centres. In the course of the integration, Holger Danowsky (49), former SITGATE executive director, was appointed to the adesso AG Executive Board in July and heads the IT Management Consulting activities.

e-Spirit AG continues its international expansion and extends its partner network: TER s.r.l. is the company's new partner in Italy. TER will market the content management system FirstSpirit and will assist customers with the implementation. With offices in Rome and Pescara, the company is a leader among consulting and system integration firms in the knowledge and data management area. The IT service provider also provides proven expertise in portal integration, both for the SAP NetWeaver and IBM WebSphere environments.

adesso AG supports the German Federal Bureau of Statistics’ census 2011 IT project

Two-year framework agreement on the development of IT components for the nationwide registry-based population, building and housing census

adesso AG is taking on the development of certain IT components as part of the EU-wide census 2011. With the registry supported population census, a new method will be introduced where mainly existing administrative registries will be used to collect the data. The realisation and implementation of the new method as well as the data consolidation that comes with it require comprehensive and reliable IT support. adesso won the tender for a subproject for developing the address and building registry as well as designing the registration and purchase data registry. As part of a framework agreement, adesso will take on the implementation and maintenance of the software components involved in the subproject for the next two years.

Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG, DEURAG, DEVK Rechtsschutz, Hamburg Mannheimer, LVM Versicherung, Roland Rechtsschutz and WGV-Versicherung and shortly also ARAG, HDI Gerling and DMB Rechtsschutz – are setting a high standard when dealing with law firms. drebis makes it possible to exchange information efficiently and without media discontinuity. With this new platform, adesso has defined a new standard which developers of legal software and the law firms themselves can quickly and easily implement. Law firms do not incur any costs when using drebis.
