adesso AG boosts sales and earnings in the third quarter significantly compared to the preceding quarters; favourable values of the prior year once again reached at the quarterly level

adesso AG was able to significantly increase its sales and earnings in the third quarter compared to the first and second quarter of 2009. While costs remained nearly stable, increasing capacity utilisation and higher license sales for in-house solutions resulted in a sales increase to EUR 18.3 million in the third quarter (second quarter: EUR 15.9 million). The 9-month values for 2009 with sales of EUR 50.9 million (prior year: EUR 47.9 million) and EBITDA of EUR 3.8 million (prior year: EUR 6.7 million) are within the expected range.

adesso AG announces half year figures: The company continues to generate profits at lower levels during period of economic downturn; forecast for full year confirmed

adesso AG, a leading consulting and software development partner for industry-specific business processes solutions, was able to increase sales revenues by 6% to EUR 32.5 million compared to the same period in the previous year despite the generally difficult market situation in the first six months of 2009. 4% of this increase was generated with organic growth. With a market volume declining in some segments and stagnating overall, adesso was able to enhance its own market position in the reporting period and benefited in particular from stable relations with existing customers.

adesso AG: Capital Reduction to Be Realised

The ordinary capital reduction, resolved at the ordinary Annual General Meeting of adesso AG (ISIN: DE0005493704 / WKN: 549370) on 29 May 2009 and which took effect on being entered into the commercial register on 6 August 2009, will be initiated at the close of the stock exchange on 17 August 2009 at a ratio of 7:1. This means a decrease in share capital from EUR 40 million to EUR 5.7 million.

New Orders Increase Foreign Turnover to over One Million Euros

adesso AG records further success in the context of its strategy of internationalization. adesso has been commissioned by the state lottery company of Estonia, “Eesti Loto“, to implement a new web-based gaming platform. In the meantime, with the help of adesso, the Swiss lottery company “Swisslos” expanded the gaming portfolio of their internet gaming platform with interactive instant games. In both projects, the adesso in-house solution in|FOCUS is being applied as the basis system. The new international projects raise the foreign turnover of adesso in the lottery business to over one million Euros.

Continuity in the Executive Board of the Successful IT Service Provider

The Supervisory Board of adesso AG early renewed the contract of Christoph Junge (39), expiring by the end of this year, for another five years. Due to the given continuity in the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board recognized not least Junge's part in the successful development of the fast growing company, which by now ranks among the Top 20 of Germany's IT consultancy and system integration companies.
